How to Install TeamViewer on MAC Step-by-Step with Security Permissions

TeamViewer is a powerful tool that lets you remotely access and control a computer from anywhere. Here’s how you can install and set up TeamViewer on your Mac:

Step 1: Download TeamViewer

  1. Open your web browser and visit the TeamViewer website at www.teamviewer.com.
  2. Click on the “Download for free” button for personal use or “See pricing” for business use.
  3. The download should start automatically. If not, click on ‘direct download’.

Step 2: Install TeamViewer

  1. Locate the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder). It should be named “TeamViewer.dmg”.
  2. Double-click on this file to open it.
  3. A new window will open with the TeamViewer icon and a shortcut to the Applications folder. Drag the TeamViewer icon into the Applications folder.

  1. In the left pane, click on “Screen Recording”.
  2. Find TeamViewer and check the box next to it. A pop-up window will appear, telling you that you need to quit TeamViewer. Click “Quit Now”.
